Sensor Switch RM-50 Low Voltage Recessed Mount Passive Infrared High Bay Aisleway Sensor

The RM-50 Series occupancy sensor provides Bi-Directional High Bay Aisleway sensing extending 70-110 feet when mounted at heights of 30-45 feet. Specifically designed to recess mount into linear High Bay fluorescent fixtures using standard 4 x 4 junction box spacing, the RM-50 works with a Power Pack to switch HID Bi-Level or T-5 / T-8 Fluorescent fixtures. The sensors view pattern covers the area lit by three typically spaced High Bay fixtures. Therefore, when mounted at a fixture, the coverage area extends out to the area that is lighted by the neighboring fixtures. This effect is useful with some Program-Start ballasts that have a delay such that when traveling in a fork-lift truck, lighting needs to be initiated On ahead of the truck. Multiple low voltage sensors may also be used together to provide coverage as needed. For example to achieve total aisleway sensing, use the HM-10 at each end and RM-50s in the center section all wired to one Power Pack.
