Hatch low voltage plug-in electronic transformers feature soft start circuitry to maximize lamp life. The soft start circuit slowly ramps up the lamp voltage when the filament is cold. Plug-in electronic transformers also feature nickel-plated hospital grade 120v plug.All Hatch low-voltage transformers employ Electronic Short Circuit and Over Load Protection and will restart as soon as the short is corrected. The ESP sensing circuit will instantly shut down the output before any of the components are stressed or if an overload is detected. All Plug-in transformers are available with 10 foot cord.
