The SYLVANIA 55 Watt OCTRON FO96 SUPERSAVER ECOLOGIC Retrofit lamp replaces 8 foot T8 59W 265mA lamps that operate on standard electronic instant start ballasts. At 10 cents per kWh and 4000 hours of operation per year the energy reduction translates to a savings of $3.20 per fixture per year with a normal ballast factor, instant start ballast operating two lamps. The initial lumen output and 94 percent lumen maintenance of the OCTRON FO96 SUPERSAVER ECOLOGIC help assure that light levels are maintained while energy is saved. The FO96SS lamps actually produce the same initial lumens and higher mean lumens than FO96/700 lamps, with a 20 percent longer lamp life than FO96/700 and 800 lamps 18,000 hours average rated life at 3hrs/start. These lamps pass the Federal TCLP test, classifying them as non-hazardous waste in most states. Lamp disposal regulations may vary check your local and state regulations.
