This sign is universal in every imaginable way - this one box can ship any kind of edge-lit exit sign you need. It comes out of the box recessed ready. However, if you need a ceiling or wall-mounted sign, it is a matter of removing two screws to remove the recess housing to affix the mounting bracket for ceiling or wall mounting. It also comes with three panels on replaceable hinges; two of the panels say EXIT and the third is blank with a Mylar reflector to act as a divider. The arrow signs on the sides of the panels are removable and can be replaced for different directional needs. Simply peel the arrow off and stick another one on for a completely different sign. The sign is made with a die-cast aluminum housing with a maintenance-free NiCad battery backup. It is lit by 10 ultra-bright Piranha LED Illuminators, which emit a nearly 180-degree emitting angle for even illumination. And should an LED fail, the sign will continue to work.
