The patented Micro-Therm is a hand held flameless heat gun which produces superheated hot air using a multi-stage catalyst. Like its sister products the Micro-Jet and Micro-Jet Plus, it is self igniting and is powered by a refillable fuel cell which is included with the tool, or by readily available disposable butane lighters. General heating and drying applications. Activate adhesives and potting compounds. Bend and form plastics and plastic laminates. PVC bending. Preheat flux. Remove windshield caulking. Install heat shrink tubing without a flame. Install heat shrink and solder filled connectors flamelessly. Manipulates molded plastic parts. Stretch vinyls. Vinyl repair. Thawing frozen locks.
